Welcome to the archive. This webspace is devoted towards ressurecting what I can of some of the fanfic pages of yesteryear. The truth of the matter is, even though I am primarily a fan of Ranma 1/2 fanfiction, a great many works have been lost to time. Many authors fade away or move on, abandoning their works and their sites, sometimes without any explanation.

But the works they leave behind can still touch people, or at least ... maybe should. I think so, anyway. Anyway, this page was meant to give you access to some of the sites that I believe form the foundation for our fanfiction.

To be certain, the face of fanfiction (at least, for Ranma 1/2) has changed since it first started showing up, in '93. But here's a glimpse back in some cases 8+ years to some collections of works I feel were particularly moving, or just worth saving.

Now, some of the stories on these pages are on the RAAC, but some are not. Moreover, and more importantly, I think these pages provide more insight in the form of the commentary from the creators themselves. I won't ramble on about this too much further, though.

A quick explanation: Most of the pages are left unchanged from their original format, though I do attempt to fix broken HTML whenever possible. Some pages are missing graphics, and I chose to let the graphics be missing rather than search for what might not be the original. Secondly, while I am doing my best, I am attempting to recreate webpages that are mostly gone to the ravages of time. This means that some links won't actually be links, because I don't have what went there. If you have any of the missing puzzle-pieces, please don't hesitate to let me know, so I can try and make this homage a bit more complete.

Please note that I have added a java counter to each of these recreated site's main pages. The counter I have added should be invisible to you, and is just for me to track which authors are getting more hits. There's no reason for me to do this other than curiosity. I don't get a lot of feedback, so it's good to know when someone's visiting.... :p

And finally, while I have attempted to contact each of the former maintainers responsible for these sites to ask for permission, the very point is that they aren't around anymore, and this site is meant to preserve what they left behind. If any of the original maintainers/creators message me and ask me to remove or change anything, I will do as they ask since these sites are not originally mine.

Note: The e-mail addresses on these pages are no longer valid, and are largely just here for posterity. For an update on other changes/a to-do list for future updates, check out the progress page.

That being said, here are the authors I currently archive, listed alphabetically by alias/first name:
