Take Off Your Clothes 4:
Love in Vein

by McKinley Morganfield

"Oh hey Ranma, what's up?" Akane looked at Ranma.

Ranma didn't respond.

"Ranma?"

There was still no response. Ranma put his hands around Akane's neck and squeezed.

"Ranma..." Akane's pleas were a mix of anger, desperation and confusion. They ended shortly, although it was hard to tell if it was from loss of oxygen or from a broken neck.

"Ranma, tell Akane to come down for dinner." said Kasumi politely.

"I can't."

"And why not?" asked Soun, a bit of hostility in his voice.

"I killed her." answered Ranma.

"Oh my!" said Kasumi.

"My youngest daughter?!" said Soun in a state of shock.

"You still have two more, daddy." said Nabiki. Kasumi looked over at the dinner table.

"Yes, that's right." said Kasumi, a ridiculously happy expression on her face. "And it'll be so much cheaper with one less mouth to feed."

"And you're not to old to have a few more." said Genma slyly, elbowing Soun.

"So, why'd you kill her?" asked Kasumi, pouring the tea.

"Oh, no real reason. You know..."

"Yes, she wasn't very cute, and she couldn't cook, and she..."

"That's enough, Kasumi..." interrupted Genma, laughing nervously.

"That's not it." replied Ranma "I guess I wondered what it would feel like."

"Well, a little curiosity never hurt anyone" answered somebody. It was Soun.

Hmmm...

Nobody else will like this, I'm sure. But I love the mundane treatment of Akane's murder.

'Sides, 'tis the shortest story ever created.

Oh yeah, I'm back on the list. Speant my time rec.music.beatle'ing or mailing stupid friends instead of fanfic ML'ing. No time saved.

Bleh. Jeff='Net addicted.
