My attempt at the 'penultimate Ukyou angst-fic.' You've probably read quite a few of these by now....

After events sent Ranma away from the Tendo Dojo, he struck out on his own ... almost. One person was a role model for the martial artist, guiding him onto a slightly different path, where education and learning have become the new priorities. Wanting to follow in his 'brother's footsteps, Ranma has set his sights on entering the prestigious Toudai (Tokyo University). Now he just needs to find some affordable lodgings and prepare for the entrance exam.

One of my first fics. Everyone acts terribly out of character. But it was fun anyway. Oh, by the way, it's dark.
